On Friday, Dave Urban, Sandy Wysocki and Kerri Richlen were recognized for completing the Red Badge Program. As part of the program, a mentor is assigned to provide a new member with support and guidance.
The program is part of the orientation process for becoming a member of the Elmbrook Rotary Club. As a new member, inductees are required to complete the following tasks that assists them in deciding where they would like to become more involved:
- Attend a zoom orientation session to learn about Rotary and the Club.
- Be a Sunrise Meeting Greeter twice, which gives the new member an opportunity to connect a face with a member’s name.
- Join one of the Club’s committees.
- Give a Classification Talk highlighting the member’s life experiences and reasons for joining Rotary.
- Attend a Board meeting to learn more about the operations of the Club.
- Attend one of the Club’s activities.
- Attend a Fireside Chat where new members learn more about Rotary’s mission and Service Above Self.
- Attend another Rotary Club’s meeting.
Kerry, Sandy, and Dave, thank you for being part of this great Club. And, Lucus and mentors for providing support in the orientation process.
