Sarah Perkins and two other reps from the Wisconsin Leadership Seminars (WILS) visited Elmbrook Rotary on Friday, August 2, and provided an update on their organization. For many years Elmbrook Rotary has provided the registration fee for three students from Elmbrook Central H.S. and Elmbrook East H.S. to participate in the WILS program. She has served as a member of the junior and adult seminar staffs, the Director of Programs for the seminar, Alumni Association Adviser and member of Corporate Board of Directors. WILS identifies outstanding high school sophomores throughout Wisconsin for being responsible citizens in their community and/or school and provide them with the opportunity and encouragement to recognize their leadership potential. It fulfills this mission through an annual 3-day leadership seminar that is provided at no cost to the students or schools. WILS encourages leadership development through emphasis on the four pillars of ResponsibilityServiceInclusiveness, & Decision Making.

Join Elmbrook Rotary any Friday at 7:00 a.m. (Western Racket Club in Elm Grove, WI) for breakfast and the opportunity to learn about WILS and other organizations throughout Wisconsin, the Midwest, and the world.
