The Elmbrook Rotary Club (ERC) just completed another successful elementary school supplies drive. The purpose of the drive is to help students start the school semester with the proper complement of classroom supplies needed to have a chance at being successful in their schoolwork. The ERC has been holding school supply drives since 2007.
As in the past, the ERC will be donating the supplies to the 95 Street School, which is a K - 5th. Grade Milwaukee Public School and to students aligned with the WellPoint Care Network.
This year Club Members donated 10,884 items including pencils, crayons, erasers, scissors, rulers, markers, colored pencils, glue, pencil bags, lined paper, plus more.
Thank you, Jan Constable and Jack Nelson for heading up this project that provides needed school supplies to Milwaukee school students.
