Wisconsin native Nicole McNevin, an RI District 6270 endorsed Rotary Peace Fellow (RPF) at Tokyo's International Christian University, embodies dedication to peace and education. Her fully-funded Master's journey, supported by The Rotary Foundation (TRF), stems from four years of teaching English in rural Japan. Fluent in Japanese, she explores barriers hindering rural youth from studying abroad. Neenah Rotarian Betsy Rozelle's encouragement led her to the Rotary Peace Fellowship, in which Nicole pioneers research to broaden study-abroad access for underserved Japanese youth. Nicole's impactful speaking engagements across Japan, coupled with her plans to continue promoting educational exchange, showcase Rotary's transformative opportunities.
