The Elmbrook Rotary Club (ERC) has sponsored the German Holiday Market for many years, but 2023 was the first year with pleasant weather!
Dr. Thomas Steinbach, Kemal Yilmaz, & Chris Salani led the first shift of the Rotary's contribution, organizing the hayride, helping community members on and off, and directing traffic.
Tony Consiglio, Jackson Bubolz, and Chris Salani again took over for the evening shift.
If you haven't been to the event, or it's been a few years, please put the first weekend of December on your calendar. The City does a tree lighting, has a warm tent with vendors, coffee, and popcorn, and there was even live Christmas music.
Another event that Brookfield and our sister city Seligenstadt, Germany can both be proud of!
