Our February social will be at Mo's Irish Pub (10842 W Bluemound Rd, Wauwatosa) on Tuesday, Feb. 16th.  We'll start gathering at 5:00 pm in the bar area.  

Join the Rotary Straight Shooters on February 18 as we enjoy a shotgun outing to break clay targets while social distancing at the Waukesha Gun Club. We’ll meet at 4:30 p.m. and shoot 5-Stand from a heated, covered, and lighted house.

Feel free to bring your friends. Anyone new to shooting is welcome. We’ll have seasoned shooters to coach and help you out. If you don’t have a shotgun, contact Harry Farchmin, and we’ll arrange for one of our members to bring one for you to use. The club also has shotguns for rent.

After shooting, we’ll gather for some refreshments and socialize while keeping our social distance.

For two decades, Dr. David Gaus has led Andean Health and Development to provide quality healthcare to the underserved rural poor of Ecuador. Since launching the organization in 1997 with his mentor and co-chair, the late Fr. Theodore Hesburgh, he has innovated a sustainable approach to rural health, establishing clinics, two hospitals, and a residency training program for rural doctors. USNSCC is a national youth leadership development organization that promotes interest and skill in naval disciplines while instilling strong moral character and life skills through leadership and technical programs modeled after the Navy's professional development system.

USNSCC is comprised of two programs. The Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC) program is for young people ages 13 through the completion of high school. Also included under the USNSCC umbrella is our junior program the Navy League Cadet Corps (NLCC), for young people ages 10 through 13.

Single-stream (also known as “fully commingled” or "single-sort") recycling refers to a system in which all paper fibers, plastics, metals, and other containers are mixed in a collection truck, instead of being sorted by the depositor into separate commodities (newspaper, paperboard, corrugated fiberboard, plastic, glass, etc.) and handled separately throughout the collection process. In single-stream, both the collection and processing systems are designed to handle this fully commingled mixture of recyclables, with materials being separated for reuse at a materials recovery facility (MRF). The single-stream option replaces the dual-stream option, which is where people separate certain recyclable materials and place them in separate containers for collection. 

Since inception, the EEF has awarded over $1,300,000 in scholarships and $425,000 in grants which enhance and extend the established curriculum and support projects that are beyond the District's budget.
